Job Location and Development Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing off-campus employment opportunities for MSU students; contacting on-campus as well as off-campus employers for possible job openings;
- Interviewing students and checking students' resumes before they are sent out to the employers; checking all timesheets that are turned into the Work Study Office;
- Ensuring all students placed in the America Challenges tutorial program off-campus jobs are fingerprinted; making site visits where Morgan students are placed;
- Provide employment training sessions.
- Updating the JLD and Work Study bulletin boards and Work Study Newsletter;
- Reporting any problems to the Work Study Supervisor;
- Ensuring all contracts are signed by all employers, as well as the students; following up with Site Coordinators to ensure they are fulfilling their job responsibilities;
- Working closely with the Office of Community Service and the Career Development Office to assist with recruiting students for job openings and performing other duties as assigned.
