Job Description

We’re seeking instructors to teach the following courses, with the potential for continuing appointments in these and/or other courses based on need. Appointment is contingent on class enrollment for each class, each semester. JOUR 210 – Multimedia Journalism – Spring 2026 – in-person or online. For JOUR 210, students learn basic photography, audio and video production skills, and produce multimedia projects following the tenets and ethical practices of journalism.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s in journalism or communication with a specialization in journalism OR Bachelor’s in either of the above AND Master’s in English, history, communication, literature, composition, comparative literature, any social science, business, business administration, marketing, graphics or photography OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area OR The equivalent.
