"JRF and Laboratory Engineer Jobs at NIT Trichy"

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli is recruiting for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Laboratory Engineer under the project titled "Development of Indigenous / Shakti Processor based SoC Designs," funded by the Centre for System On-Chip (SoC) Design and Fabrication in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Essential Qualifications:

• For JRF: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with First Class, and M.E./M.Tech/M.S. in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Microprocessors, or related ECE specialization. Knowledge in VLSI Tools is advantageous.
• For Laboratory Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in ECE/EEE/ICE with First Class. Desirable: Minimum 1 year experience in VLSI/ASIC, with strong understanding of front-end/back-end developments in FPGA/ASIC projects, RTL verification, and physical design.

Candidate Profile: Candidates should have completed UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records, excellent communication skills, passion for teaching and guiding students, and a good research record.

Job Location: Trichy, Tamilnadu.

Pay Scale: For JRF: Rs. 35,960 per month for the first 2 years, then Rs. 40,600 per month for the remaining three years. For Laboratory Engineer: Rs. 25,000 per month for the first 2 years, then Rs. 30,000 per month for the remaining three years.

Duration: 60 months, with extensions based on performance review every 12 months.
