Organization Profile: The Gujarat University was conceived in the nineteen twenties in the minds of public-spirited and learned men like Gandhiji, Sardar Patel, Acharya Anandshankar B. Dhruva, Dada Saheb Mavlankar, Kasturbhai Lalbhai, and many others. However, the University could come into existence only after the achievement of independence. In 1949, the University was incorporated under the Gujarat University Act of the State Government ‘as a teaching and affiliating University.’ This was done as a measure of decentralization and reorganization of University education in the then Province of Bombay.

Project Associate (Remote Sensing)

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification: M.Tech. /M.Phil./M.Sc. in (Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/Earth Sciences/ GeoSciences/ Environmental Science/Water Engineering/hydrology) or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification: Excellent Scientific writing skills; understanding of remote sensing data related to water quality and image processing through software for handling remote sensing data like ARCGIS, ENVI

Pay Scale: Rs. 31 K+ 27% HRA

Job Title: JRF (Computer Science)

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification: M.Tech. /M.Phil./M.Sc. in (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information science/ Geoinformatics/ ICT/ AI&ML)/ MCA or equivalent with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

Desirable Qualification: Candidates having expertize in Artificial Intelligence, Python with ML libraries (or good programming skill); good knowledge of mobile application development; excellent Scientific writing skills; understanding of remote sensing data related to water quality and image processing through software for handling remote sensing data like ARCGIS, ENV

Pay Scale: Rs. 31 K+ 27% HRA for (NET/SLET/GATE candidates), Rs. 25 K fixed for (non NET/SLET/GATE candidates)
