Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, is seeking candidates for the JRF position for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Organization Profile: IITRAM, established by the Government of Gujarat as an Autonomous University, aims to bring significant change in Engineering Education with respect to Technical and Managerial knowledge in Infrastructure. It serves as a Center of excellence in Research and Teaching in areas pertaining to Infrastructure.

Job Title: JRF

Employment Type: Temporary

Project Title: Experimental and numerical investigations on the effect of process parameters on the weld quality of polymeric materials by friction stir welding

Qualification: Bachelor/Postgraduate in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or equivalent from a recognized university/Institute. Candidates appearing/appeared in their final year exam and awaiting their degree certificate may also apply.

Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Progress will be reviewed annually for extension. Selected candidates will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program at IITRAM.

Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Research Fellowship: For NET/GATE candidates: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA; For non-NET/GATE candidates: Rs. 18,720/- per month.
