Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, is seeking candidates for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Project Title: Experimental and numerical investigations on the effect of process parameters on the weld quality of polymeric materials by friction stir welding

Qualification: Essential: Master degree in Mechanical/Thermal/Production/Polymer Science Engineering or equivalent with 1st division at both graduate and post-graduate levels. Candidates appearing in final year exams may apply. Desirable: Ability to perform experiments.

Duration: 3 years or till project completion, whichever is earlier, with annual progress reviews. Selected candidates may apply for Ph.D. at IITRAM.

Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Research Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA for GATE qualified candidates; Rs. 18,720 per month + HRA for Non-GATE candidates.
