Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad is seeking a JRF for the 2023-2024 academic year. Eligible candidates can apply online by 21st August 2023.

Organization Profile: Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management has been established by the Government of Gujarat as an Autonomous University and has been mandated to bring about significant change in Engineering Education with respect to Technical and Managerial knowledge in the area of Infrastructure. The objective of this Institute is to serve as a Center of excellence in Research and Teaching in all areas pertaining to Infrastructure, and the Institute has a vision of acquiring a status of National importance in Infrastructure and related areas.

IITRAM Project Title: Experimental and numerical investigations on the effect of process parameters on the weld quality of polymeric materials by friction stir welding

Qualification:

• Essential: Candidate must have Master degree in Mechanical/ Thermal/ Production/ Polymer Science Engineering or equivalent with 1st division both at graduate and post-graduate level from a recognized university/ Institute.
• Desirable: Candidates are expected to perform experiments and have a good mathematical ability as well as sound knowledge of computer programming.

Duration of JRF Position: 3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. However, after every year, the progress of the candidate will be reviewed for further extension. The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the Ph.D. program of IITRAM as per the available guidelines.

Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Research Fellowship:

• Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as per Institute Norms (for GATE qualified candidates with valid GATE score)
• Rs. 18,720/- per month + HRA as per Institute Norms (for Non-GATE Candidates)
