Project Title: Detection of Crack Orientation in 3D Printed Composite Plate using Shearlet Transform

Department: Mechanical Engineering

Essential Qualification:

• JRF: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Engineering Design/Machine Design/ Mechanical Design/Aerospace Engineering/ Applied Mechanics/ CAD/CAM selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE b. The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER etc. (or)
• Project Associate – I: B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech with First class in Mechanical Engineering/ Engineering Design/Machine Design/ Mechanical Design/Aerospace Engineering/Applied Mechanics/ CAD/CAM from an AICTE/MoE recognized Institute / University (or)
• Project Associate – II: B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech with First class in Mechanical Engineering/ Engineering Design/Machine Design/ Mechanical Design/Aerospace Engineering/Applied Mechanics/ CAD/CAM from an AICTE/MoE recognized Institute / University and 2 years’ experience in R&D or Academic Institutions.

Job Location: Trichy, Tamilnadu

Pay Scale:

• For GATE qualified Candidates: JRF: Rs. 37,000/- + 16% HRA
• For Non-Gate Qualified Candidates: Project Associate – I: Rs. 25,000/- + 16% HRA Project Associate – II: Rs.28,000/- +16% HRA

Duration: 2 years, but initially for a period of ONE YEAR and will be extended for next year based on the performance.
