Organization Profile: The National Institute of Technology (formerly known as Regional Engineering College) Tiruchirappalli, situated in the heart of Tamil Nadu on the banks of the river Cauvery, was started as a joint and co-operative venture of the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu during 1964 with a view to catering to the needs of man-power in technology for the Country. The College has subsequently been conferred with autonomy in financial and administrative matters to achieve rapid development.

Essential Qualification:

• B. E / B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent) / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology / Equivalent)
• And
• M. E / M. Tech / MS (Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Data Analytics / AI & ML / AI & Data Science / Equivalent) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA) / Master of Science (Computer Science / Data Science / Analytics / Equivalent) with 60% or above aggregate marks (or CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in both UG and PG.
• A valid GATE / CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship- Assistant Professorship) national level test score
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of System Programming, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques.
