National Institute of Technology Srinagar is seeking candidates for the position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) for the project titled "Water Purification Using 3D Printed Hydrogel Capsule Membrane" funded by JKST&IC, DST.

Organization Profile: National Institute of Technology, Srinagar (NITSRI), formerly Regional Engineering College, Srinagar, is a public engineering and research institution located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and is directly under the control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). It was established in 1960 and is governed by the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.

Essential Qualification: B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) for Open/OBC category and minimum 55% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.0) for SC/ST category. OR B. Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 75% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 8.0/10) for Open/OBC category and minimum 70% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 7.5) for SC/ST category, and must have qualified GATE with a valid score.

Emoluments: ₹ 20,000/- (Consolidated)
