Job Title: Junior Research Assistant

Project Title: Sustainability assessment of high-value vegetable crops using bio-priming approach towards improved performance and nutritional security for smallholder farmers (CST-UP Project ID P-26/0139)

Department: Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry

Qualifications: Only Indian Citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for Research Assistantship. Candidate must have M.Sc. (Ag) in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry and B.Sc.(Ag) with minimum 60% or equivalent marks. Having experience in advanced statistics techniques using statistical software like R, SPSS. Prior experience of soil microbiology. Strong scientific writing skills for manuscript and study report preparation. At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Job Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

Candidate Profile: The candidate should complete PG in relevant discipline. Commitment towards work. Candidate should have Good Communication Skill.

Consolidated Pay: Rs 20,000/- p.m. for first two years and Rs 22,000/- p.m. in third year.

Duration of Employment: Initially, the appointment is for one year but it can be extended for two more years depending on the performance.
