Organization Profile: In 1877, Sir Syed founded the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College in Aligarh and patterned the college after Oxford and Cambridge universities that he had visited on a trip to England. His objective was to build a college in tune with the British education system but without compromising its Islamic values. Sir Syed’s son, Syed Mahmood, who was an alumnus of Cambridge prepared a proposal for an independent university to the ‘Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College Fund Committee’ upon his return from England in 1872. This proposal was adopted and subsequently modified. Syed Mahmood continued to work along with his father in founding the college.

Department: Electronics Engineering

Funding Agency: Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India

Tenture: Project duration or up to 10.02.2027 (whichever is earlier)

Essential Qualifications:

• For Project Assistant: B.Tech. in the field related to Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum 65% marks (for OBC/SC/ST 60% marks)
• For JRF: M. Tech in the field related to VLSI or Embedded Systems or Signal Processing or Electronics and Communication Engineering with a minimum 65% marks (for OBC/SC/ST 60% marks)

Desired Experience: GATE/UGC-NET Qualified

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication.
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students.
• The candidate should have good research record.

Emoluments:

• For JRF: INR 37,000 + HRA per month (as per norms).
• For Project Assistant: INR 23,200/- per month including HRA.
