Junior Research Fellow
Assam University is recruiting for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Life Science & Bioinformatics for the project titled "Development of novel biochar from indigenous cowdung for remediating arsenic-contaminated water and soil matrices," sponsored by a DST funded project.
Job Type: Temporary
Essential Qualifications: Candidates should hold an M.Sc. in Life Science, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry with good academic records. Preference is for candidates with experience in biochar, chemistry background, interpersonal and communication skills, and experience in writing research publications. NET (UGC/ICAR/CSIR/GATE) qualified candidates will be preferred.
Age Limit: 28 years (as per GOI rules).
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 INR per month + HRA. Eligible candidates may also register for the Ph.D. program.
