In 1956, the German Government offered technical assistance for establishing an institute of higher education in engineering in India. The first Indo-German agreement in Bonn, West Germany for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras was signed in 1959.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Employment Type: Temporary

Department: Biotechnology

Educational Qualification: MSc/M.Tech or equivalent degree with NET/GATE in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/any branch of Life sciences, with 60% marks. Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques are preferred.

Tenant of the Project: Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance.

Job Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu

Pay Scale: Rs. 37,000/- Per month + HRA
