It is declared as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament of India (Institutes of Technology Act, 1961). The IIT system has 23 Institutions of Technology. The IITs are well known both nationally and internationally for excellence in education and research in engineering and science.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title: Inspecting Trend of Treatment Effects: Multivariate ANOVA under Heteroscedasticity

Employment Type: Temporary

Department: Mathematics and Statistics

Essential Qualification: M.Sc./Int. M.Sc./M.Tech/B.Tech in Statistics, Mathematics or any related fields. Valid NET/GATE qualification with above 7.5/10 CGPA or 75% marks. Relaxation of CGPA: 6.0 for OBC/EWS, 5.5 for SC/ST/PWD. Relaxation of marks: 60% for OBC/EWS, 55% for SC/ST/PWD.

Consolidated monthly Salary: Rs.37,000 + HRA for 1st and 2nd years and Rs.42,000 + HRA for 3rd year (HRA at 10% rate if hostel accommodation is not available)
