Project Title: Polysulfone-cellulose nanocrystal (PS/CNCs) based low-fouling mixed matrix membrane: Fabrication and applications in electric field assisted fractionation of proteins from chicken egg white

Funded by: DST-SERB

Qualification: M.Tech. or Equivalent degree (fulltime) in Chemical Engineering / Biochemical Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Chemical Technology/Biotechnology/Food Technology/Nano Technology with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale from a UGC recognized University/Institution. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC as per norms.

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having (i) GATE or UGC-CSIR NET/UGC-NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or national level test conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions, (ii) knowledge/research experience on synthesis of nanoparticles/polymeric membrane and those who wish to pursue Ph.D.

Emoluments: For the first two years Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA and for the third year Rs. 35,000 +24% HRA /as per SERB norms.
