Organization Profile: The National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA), an Institute of National Importance (INI), was instituted by the Government of India to promote excellence in technical education and research in the North-East region. Established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), NIT Agartala aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) to foster quality education and sustained development.

Research Position: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the Project: Predictive control of RCCI engine performance and emission using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India under the Core Research Grant (CRG) scheme

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in basic science or Graduate/Post Graduate in professional course selected through processes such as CSIR-UGC-NET (including lectureship), GATE, or national-level examinations by central government departments like DST, DBT, DAE, etc.

Project Duration: 03 years

Stipend: Rs. 37,000 per month for the first 2 years and Rs. 42,000 per month for the third year
