Savani University has been established by P.P. Savani Education Trust which was launched in 1987, and has been involved in school education, with a group of schools in Surat district having student strength of more than 45,000. The trust is working with the mission of “Social Service through Education”. Presently, P.P. Savani University offers 20+ different undergraduate programs in the field of Engineering, Science, Architecture, Design, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Liberal Arts and Management. In this short span of six years the University has enrolled nearly 5000 students and nearly 100 research scholars who are pursuing their PhD programme in different schools. PPSU faculties were successful in fetching the research project grants from famous agencies like UGC-DAE, DST-SERB, GUJCOST etc.

Research Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Title of the project: Investigation of projectile and structure effects using elastic and inelastic reactions of Boron isotopes

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Department of Science and Technology-Science & Engineering Research board (DST-SERB)

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics with consistently good academic record and a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in the Master’s degree.

Desirable Qualifications: With a knowledge of Nuclear Physics.

Project Duration: 36 months

Stipend: (i) Rs. 25,000/month (for 2 years) and Rs. 28,000/month (for 3rd year) + 08% HRA [For non-NET/GATE] (ii) Rs. 31,000/month (for 2 years) and Rs. 35,000/month (for 3rd year) + 08% HRA [For NET/GATE qualified]

Job Location: Dhamdod, Kosamba, Surat, Gujarat.
