Research Position: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the Project: Semantic Person Retrieval in Surveillance

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Government of Gujarat, India

Essential Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication Engineering / ICT) / M.Sc. in (Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science/ICT) / MCA.

Desirable Qualifications: Good knowledge of Python Programming, Knowledge of Machine learning and Deep Learning algorithms and Libraries.

Project Duration: 36 months

Stipend: GATE/CSIR-UGC NET qualification: Rs 30,000/- per month; Without GATE/CSIR-UGC NET: Rs. 18,720/- per month; Candidate joining PhD program at Ahmedabad University: 40,000 INR/month (including JRF fellowship). Ahmedabad University awards full tuition fee waiver and financial support to doctoral students. The Ahmedabad University offers University Assistantship at INR 40,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver or University Fellowship at INR 50,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver.
