Research Position: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the project: Development of Al alloy based FGM for High Temperature Aerospace Applications using Laser Direct Energy Deposition

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: DRDO

Essential Qualifications: First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in M.Tech. in Manufacturing / Production / Materials Technology / Welding Technology / CIM / Materials and Systems Engineering Design / Powder Metallurgy or relevant program of Mechanical with a relevant degree in B.Tech. with First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale
GATE Qualified

Desirable Qualifications:

• M.Tech. With knowledge in additive manufacturing, welding and welding metallurgy will be given preference
• Should be able to work in a team and must have good communication skills

Project Duration: 36 months

Stipend: Rs. 31,000 p.m + 16% HRA as per DST norms totally 35,960/-
