"Junior Research Fellow"

Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu is recruiting for the position of Junior Research Fellow under the project titled "Towards Trusted-node Free Hybrid Quantum Secure Communication Network (TAHQEECAT)" in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The position is initially for one year and may be extended based on performance, co-terminus with the project.

Qualifications required: M.E./M.Tech./MS(R) or equivalent in CSE/ECE/EE/Microelectronics/VLSI Design and allied subjects with 65% marks or equivalent (5% relaxation for ST/SC/PH candidates). Alternatively, B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. in relevant fields with 65% marks. Candidates must have qualified in national eligibility tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or exams conducted by DST, DBT, etc. Preference for experience in Cryptography, Digital Signal Processing, Digital VLSI Architecture Design, FPGA Based System Design, Verilog/VHDL, and EDA tools like Cadence or Synopsys.

The job location is Jammu. Pay scale is a consolidated salary of INR 25,000 per month plus HRA, applicable without qualified national eligibility tests as listed.

Organization Profile: It was a memorable day on May 01, 2016, at Jammu, when a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India, was signed, setting up an IIT campus at village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota at Jammu. The site is located on the National Highway and is about 15 Km from the Airport.
