"Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate II"

The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (NIT Durgapur) is seeking candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate II positions. These roles are funded by SERB (DST) and based in the Department of Physics, Chemical Engineering, and Centre of Excellence in Advanced Materials. The project aims to develop Sodium ion hybrid capacitors/batteries with improved electrochemical performance for sustainable energy storage.

Qualifications and Details:

• JRF (1 post): Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month. Duration: Up to three years. Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech in relevant fields or M.Sc. with NET/GATE, plus experience in electrochemistry is advantageous.
• Research Associate II (1 post): Fellowship: ₹61,000 per month + HRA. Duration: Initially one year, extendable. Qualifications: PhD in relevant disciplines with post-doctoral experience, expertise in nanomaterial synthesis, and electrochemical methods.
