"Junior Research Fellow (JRF)"

Applications are invited for the post of JRF (on contract) to perform research work on the project titled "Fabrication and Characterization of Novel Nanoscale Field Effect Transistor (FET) Array to detect VOCs for Breast Cancer Screening", supported by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS), Trombay, Mumbai, India (Sanction letter no. 58/14/20/2022-BRNS/37072). The selected candidate will be appointed initially for two years and re-designated to SRF in the third year based on performance review.

Eligibility: Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering/Material Science/Biomedical/Biotechnology or MSc Chemistry (preferably organic chemistry/inorganic chemistry) or MSc Physics (Applied Physics) or M.Tech./MS(R)/M.E./equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering/material science/biotechnology/biomedical and allied subjects. Candidates must have at least 6.5/10 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university as a full-time program. A good GATE score will be an added advantage.

Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 15/11/2022 (5 years’ relaxation for OBC-NCL/SC/ST and women applicants).
