Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project entitled "Development of Hybrid Method to Analyze the Radiation Characteristics of a Dipole Antenna near a Perfectly Conducting Cylindrically Curved Screen" in reference to the sanction order File No. ECR/2018/001410 dated: 25.03.2019 by SERB, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India.
Project Title:Development of Hybrid Method to Analyze the Radiation Characteristics of a Dipole Antenna near a Perfectly Conducting Cylindrically Curved ScreenName of Position:Junior Research Fellow (JRF)Number of Position:01 (One)Project Duration Left:7 Months (Till 25th Sept. 2022)Essential Qualifications:First class (60% or 6.5 CGPA) in both B.E/B. Tech in (Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics Engineering) and M.E/M. Tech in RF and Microwave Engineering or equivalent.Desirable Qualifications:(i) Knowledge on Electromagnetic scattering and Antennas are essential. (ii) Knowledge of Computational (Method of Moments) and Asymptotic methods (Uniform theory of Diffraction) is desirable. (iii) Exposure to Electromagnetic simulation tool (preferably: FEKO), and MATLAB programming is desirable.Fellowship:As per the funding agency norm (i.e., for JRF Rs. 31,000/- for the first 2 years and 35,000/- for the third year). No other allowances admissible.

The Institute reserves the right to accept applications at any time and consider candidates of exceptional credentials without applications. Qualification and experience may be relaxed at any point in time for exceptional candidates. 3. Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for an Interview. The shortlisting will be done based on the need of the project. 4. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the interview date. So, the candidate must provide valid E-mail IDs in their applications. 5. Applicants in government/semi-government employment must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer. 6. The first and foremost responsibility of the candidate is to fulfill the jobs’ requirements to complete the above-mentioned project in a timely manner. 7. The JRF can be promoted to SRF after two year of relevant research experience on this project and on the recommendation of the project progress monitoring committee. 8. Leaving the project before the end of the project is strongly discouraged. Candidates will not be entitled to any experience certificate if leaving the project without completing it. 9. The association between PI and the candidate can be discontinued at any time by giving one month’s notice in writing either by the PI of the project to the candidate or by the candidate to the PI of the project. 10. Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular Ph.D. program in IIIT Sri City, provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion followed by the selection process laid down by the institute. 11. Experience letter will be provided, only if the candidate completes the project/tenure/at least one year/till the completion of the project.
