**Title of the project:** Development of sensing systems for rapid and in situ quality assessment of Black rice, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Elsholtzia griffithii and Cinnamomum zeylanicum of north-east India using spectroscopic (NIR and Raman) technologies

**Sponsoring/Funding Agency:** Department of Biotechnology (DBT)

**Essential Qualifications:** M.E/M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/ Biotechnology with minimum of 65% marks or 7.5 CGPA from any recognized University/Institute with valid Gate Score.

**Desirable Qualifications:** Strong Background in Chemometrics and Signal Processing.

**Project Duration:** 02 Years

**Stipend:** 31,000/- Per Month + 24% HRA
