Academic ConnectJunior Research Fellow(JRF)
Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati, is seeking a Junior Research Fellow for the 2024-2025 academic year. The position is sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) under the National Geospatial Programme (NGP).
Research Area: Improvement of geoid model derived from EGM at regional scale by advanced gravimetric geoid modelling.
Department: Civil and Environmental Engineering
Essential Qualifications: B. Tech and M. Tech in Civil/Earth science/Geoinformatics/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Mathematics/Geophysics/Geology with a minimum of 60% marks or 8/10 CGPA. Preference for valid GATE scores. Relaxations apply for OBC/EWS, SC/ST/PWD.
Salary: INR 37,000.00 + HRA per month.
Tenture: Initially for 6 months, extendable up to two years based on performance.
Location: Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh
