Organization Profile: IIIT Una (Saloh) is one of the 20 IIITs being set up, funded, and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The partners setting up IIIT Una (Saloh) are the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited, and HP Transmission Corporation Limited. Admissions to the undergraduate programmes in the Institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur has been entrusted the responsibility of mentoring IIIT Una (Saloh) by MHRD, Govt. of India till the time its new campus is made operational at Saloh, Una.

Project Title: Vimatsya: Situation-Aware Intelligent Fly and Swim Cobot for Post-Disaster Impact Assessment, Risk Reduction, and Emergency Response Services

Project Duration: 02 years

Qualification: Candidates with a master’s degree in engineering/technology with a good academic record or a master’s degree by research in engineering/ technology in the relevant discipline, with a valid/qualified GATE score in addition to a good and consistent academic record. However, GATE qualification may be exempted for the deserving candidates as per the Institute norms OR B.Tech./B.E. degree of any recognized University/Institute in India with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 on a 10.0-point scale or equivalent with a valid GATE score in addition to exceptional academic record. GATE may be exempted for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree from Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI)/ Government Funded Technical Institute (GFTI) with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 and an exceptional academic record.

Desirable: GATE/NET Qualified, Strong knowledge in Machine learning/Deep learning algorithms, Augmented reality/ Virtual reality and Mobile application development.

Remuneration: Rs.15,000/- month
