"Junior Research Fellow (JRF)"

National Institute of Technology Srinagar is seeking candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The role involves work in the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering on the project titled: Design and Investigation of Nano Structured TBC coatings (Co, Cr, Al, Y/Ta/Hf and Ni, Co, Cr, Al, Y/Ta/Hf as a bond coating and 8% Y2O3-ZrO2 top ceramic coating) on SuperNi 718 substrate in adverse environment at 800-1000 deg C for aerospace engines.

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engg./Ceramic Engg./Mechanical/Production Engg. and Master’s degree in Materials Science/Engg./Technology/Tribology, or Master’s degree in Solid State Physics with Mathematics as a subject at Bachelors level. Desirable: GATE qualified.

Employment Type: Temporary

Nature & Period of Post: Appointment for one year.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 per month (consolidated)
