Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Title of the project: The Smart Energy Metering and Billing System (SEMB): Enhancing EV Charging Infrastructure for Efficiency and Accessibility

Tenure of Project: 24 Months

Essential Qualification:

Post-Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post-Graduate Degree in Professional Courses elected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE; (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.

Desirable Qualification:

Preferably the candidate should have post-graduation degree in electrical engineering or computer science with knowledge in control systems and power electronics, Hands-on experience with AI tools, Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Opal-RT/Speedgoat, Familiarity with real-time data processing systems

Job Description:

Optimization of energy trading using AI algorithms, corresponding computer software, with background in control systems, electric drives, interdisciplinary tasks with integration of intelligent decision-making into energy applications emphasized.

Fellowship:

Rs.37,000/- per month + Applicable HRA (16%) in case of accommodation outside IIT(ISM) Dhanbad
