"Junior Research Fellow (JRF)"

Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position (on contract basis) under DST-SERB sponsored project “Assessment of Durability properties of UHPFRC and application of Integrated Metaheuristic Algorithm with Artificial Neural Network for predicting the properties” at Department of Applied Mechanics.

Eligibility: Candidate shall hold M.E. / M. Tech. in Structural Engineering / Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering / Earthquake Engineering / Structural Engineering related specializations / Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering related specializations with a good academic background.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 1 No.

Remuneration Per Month:

• Rs. 37,000/- per month consolidated (for the first 2 years),
• Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated (for 3rd year)

Duration of Project: The appointment will be given initially for six months, which is extendable for another six months up to maximum of 03 years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier, solely based on satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Note: As per Institute Policy, the JRF candidate may be considered for Ph.D. program as per the applicable rules. Candidates interested to extend their JRF to the Ph.D. program as per VNIT rules will be preferred. The posts will be co-terminus with the duration and requirement of the project.
