Project Title: Investigation into Biological Functions of the Stress Responsive Transfer RNA Aspartic Acid Methyltransferase 1 (TRDMT1/DNMT2) in the Moss Physcomitrium patens

Duration: 3 years

Essential Qualifications: Masters or Equivalent degree (full-time) in any field of Biological Sciences from a recognized university and should have qualified GATE or CSIR/UGC-NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship). Candidate should be 1st class throughout, from 10th Std. onwards up to post-graduation or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Tissue Culture are highly desirable.

Desirable: Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology

Job Location: Dwarka, New Delhi

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31000/-p.m. +HRA (as per university rules) for first and second years; Rs. 35000/-p.m.+ HRA (as per university rules) for the third year.
