Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Positions at NIT Warangal
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under the Indian Academy of Highway Engineers (IAHE), IIT Roorkee, and University of New South Wales, Australia and NIT Warangal under joint research program.
Research/Job Area: Department of Civil Engineering-Transportation Division
Location: NIT Warangal, Warangal, INDIA
Eligibility/Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/ or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering (First class) and ME/M.Tech in Transportation Engineering with GATE Qualified.
Desired qualifications: A prior knowledge of the below-mentioned skills is desirable: Travel Demand Models, Traffic simulation models, Proficient in Travel behaviour modelling and Good analytical ability and competency in writing skills, Programming Skills: C++, Python, GIS
Emoluments: Rs 37,000/- per month + HRA during first two years and Rs 42,000/- per month + HRA during third year based on performance
Job Nature: In this project, candidates need to perform Travel Demand Models, Traffic simulation models, Proficient in Travel behaviour modelling and Good analytical ability and competency in writing skills
Other benefits: The selected candidates are eligible to register for PhD degree at NIT, Warangal as per institute rules.
Title of the Project: Advanced Transport Modelling and Simulation for National Highways in India
Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview (offline/online). No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the interview.
