Project Title: “Marker assisted pyramiding of BPH resistant genes into “Telangana Sona”, a popular rice variety of Telangana using candidate gene and SSR based markers

Qualification: Essential qualification: M.Sc. (Ag) Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ master’s degree in biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Plant Physiology with two years of experience Net qualification conducted by ASRB/ICAR/UGC/ CSIR/ DBT for the candidates with 3 years degree Desirable qualification: Experience in Genomics/molecular characterization of rice genotypes/conducting field trials/data analysis/writing skills/crossing and evaluation of genotypes for abiotic stresses

• Candidate should complete PG in relevant discipline
• Candidate should have Good Communication Skill
• Commitment towards work
• Have a good Publication record
