Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project titled "Deceptive Defenses: Exploring the Role of Cyber Deception in Fortifying the Indian Power Grid Against Ransomware Attacks" under the Principal Investigator Dr. Ghanshyam S. Bopche, Department of Computer Applications, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.

Funding Agency: Power Grid Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security (PGCoE), IISc Bengaluru.

Number of Positions: 01.

Project Duration: 2 Years.

Essential Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent) / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology / Equivalent) and M.E / M.Tech / MS (Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Data Analytics / AI & ML / AI & Data Science / Equivalent) / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / Data Science / Analytics / Equivalent) with 60% or above aggregate marks (or CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in both UG and PG, and a valid GATE / CSIR-UGC NET score.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of System Programming, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques.

Age Limit: Less than 32 years.

Salary: Rs. 37,000/- + 18% HRA per month.
