Title: SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND APPLICATIONS OF DOPED TITANIUM NANO METAL OXIDE ADDITIVES IN BIOBASED VEGETABLE GEAR OIL LUBRICANT FOR MARINE APPLICATIONS

Department: SCHOOL OF MARINE ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

Qualification:

• M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
• Understanding of material characterization techniques is desirable.
• Familiarity with Materials/Nano chemistry and organic chemistry is also desirable.
• Knowledge in chemistry specially in the field of Pharma chemicals/ Petroleum Products & Petro-chemicals is desirable.

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication.
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students.
• The candidate should have good research record.

Job Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu

Scale of Pay: JRF fellowship shall be Rs. 31000/- per month for first two years and Rs.35000/- per month SRF salary for third year Rs 35,000/- p.m. (Rupees thirty five thousand per month)

Duration: The initial appointment will be for one year subsequently extended to 2 more years till the completion of the project
