Organization Profile: Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, Min. of Defence, Avadi is involved in the Design & Development of State-of-the-Art Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) for the Army & Spin-offs for other Services (Air Force & Navy). CVRDE has the Core Competency in the technologies relevant to AFVs – viz., Turret & Weapon System, Chasis & Automotive System, Powerpack Technologies (Engine & Transmission), Running Gear Technologies, Vehicle Electricals, Electronics and Communication, etc. Also, CVRDE undertakes collaborative research with IITs, IISc Bangalore and other leading academic institutions.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech with First Division from a recognized university with valid GATE score (OR)
• M.E/M.Tech with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level

Job Location: Chennai, Tamilnadu

Salary:

• Rs.37,000/- per month (Consolidated stipend/ Consolidated Fellowship Emolument)
• HRA and medical facilities shall be admissible as per rules.
• Fellowship is initially for a period of two years and extendable as per rules
