Organization Profile: Dr. Sarfaraz A Wani, born on 02/03/1961 in Srinagar has done his BVSc & AH from AndhraPradesh Agriculture University Hyderabad in 1986, MVSc in Livestock Products Technology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, UP in 1988 & PhD in Livestock Products Technology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute Izatnagar in 1996. He joined SKUAST-K as Assistant Professor in Sep 1988, was selected as Associate Professor in March 1997 and Professor with effect from March 2005. He has served as Head Division of Livestock Products Technology from 1989 to June 2010 & June 2020 till date; Associate Director Extension (AS) SKUAST-K from Jan 2011 to Oct 2013, Dean Faculty of Veterinary Sciences from Oct 2013 to Oct 2018 and Controller Examination, SKUAST-Kashmir from Feb 2018 to June 2020 and was elevated as Director Research on May 2021.
