Organization Profile: Indian Institute of Technology Indore, located in Madhya Pradesh, is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009. It is one of the eight new IITs started by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (India). The institution started functioning from 2009-10 in a temporary campus at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilyabai University under mentorship of IIT Bombay. The foundation of the permanent campus, spread over an area of around 501.42-acre, was laid on 17th February 2009 at Simrol, about 25 km from Indore.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the Project: Livelihood interventions for Scheduled Caste labourers through “Shramik Vikas” community-partnered training programs in Simrol Block, Indore District, Madhya Pradesh State

Essential Qualifications:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Position 1
  Eligibility: M. Tech. in Civil Engineering related specialization with 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA and a Valid NET/GATE Score. Preference for experience in sustainable construction projects.
  Stipend: INR 37,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd Years and Rs. 42,000/- per month for the 3rd Year (HRA as per Institute Rules).
  Duration: 3 Years
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Position 2
  Eligibility: M. Sc. in Organic Chemistry/Agro-Chemistry with 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA and Valid NET/GATE Score. Preference for experience in Agricultural studies.
  Stipend: INR 37,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd Years and Rs. 42,000/- per month for the 3rd Year (HRA as per Institute Rules).
  Duration: 3 Years
