Organization Profile: SUIIT is functioning successfully since 2010 as an autonomous constituent institute of Sambalpur University in the line of IIITs to impart training and to have quality research programmes relating to Information Technology and allied subjects. The training in the institute has been envisioned to be a holistic academic programme that includes training in humanities, management sciences and basic sciences besides the relevant technical subjects.

Project Title: Studies on Deep Learning Models for Crude Oil Price Forecasting.

Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India.

Scheme: Core Research Grant.

Position Title: Junior Research Fellow.

Duration: 3 Years.

Number of Position: One (1).

Essential Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech any Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / other related specializations. GATE and/or NET qualified candidates will be given preference.

Desired Skills: Basic Knowledge in Machine Learning, Time Series Forecasting, Deep Learning and Computer Programming, Matlab, Python, R.

Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- Per Month.

HRA/ Accommodation: No HRA will be provided. However, the selected candidate is eligible for an on-campus hostel and mess facility subjected to availability.

Job Nature: Execute the Objective of the Research Project.

Other Benefits: The selected candidates are eligible to register for Ph.D. degree as per the Sambalpur University Rules. However, the candidate needs to apply for Ph.D. degree when the advertisement is open.
