Project Title: Towards Zero-Waste through Bio-based Circular Recovery Model – Lessons for Managing Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste from Sweden and India

Funded by: International Cooperation Division, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India

Qualification: (a) For candidates with M.E. / M.Tech in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Biotechnology or equivalent subject as qualifying degree with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks, and GATE qualification not older than 05 years from the last date of submission of application / NET qualification in relevant discipline. (b) For candidates with M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Biotechnology/Microbiology or equivalent subject as qualifying degree with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks, and GATE qualification not older than 05 years from the last date of submission of application / NET qualification in relevant discipline. (c) The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years for a candidate with M.Sc., and 32 years for a candidate with M.Tech./M.E. degree as the highest qualification to be calculated as on the last date of application. (d) Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD will be given as per the GoI norms. (e) Candidates having relevant research or working experience in solid waste management will be given preference

Duration of the post: Initially 01 year and can be extended up to 03 years subject to satisfactory performance

Pay Scale: Rs. 37,000/- per month
