Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Project Title: Investigating CREB as a therapeutic target for career by reactivating the epigenetically silenced tumor suppressors.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc with minimum of 55% (or a CGPA of 5.5 in 10 points in scale) in any branch of Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics

Desirable: i) Qualification in any of the national level eligibility tests in the relevant subject for research like CSIR-UGC-NET (JRF or LS) or GATE or any such exam conducted by Govt. of India agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, etc. ii) Experience or exposure in molecular biology techniques.

Duration: 3 years. The offer will be initially for one year that can be extended further based on the performance of incumbents and the continuation of the project.

Job Location: Puducherry

Pay Scale: As per SERB norms plus HRA for the candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or LS) or GATE or any such exam conducted by Govt. of India agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, etc. Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA for non-NET/ GATE candidates.
