Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Department: Department of Earth Sciences, School of Physical, Chemical and Applied Sciences, Pondicherry University

Project Title: Petrology, Geochemistry, and geochronology of mafic and felsic volcanic rocks of Panjal Traps, Kashmir, NW India

Funding Agency: SERB

Essential Qualification: Candidates with an M.Sc in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Earth Sciences, with a minimum of 55% and those who have qualified in CSIR-NET and/or Gate.

Desirable: Research experience in igneous petrology, high-temperature geochemistry, and mineralogy

Duration: 2 years

Pay Scale: Rs.31,000/-per month + HRA
