Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology is recruiting for the post of Junior Research Fellow. The position involves working on the project titled "Development of sensing systems for rapid and in situ quality assessment of Black rice, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Elsholtzia Griffithii and Cinnamomum Zeylanicum of north-east India using spectroscopic (NIR and Raman) technologies," sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT).

Essential Qualifications: M.E/M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/ Biotechnology with minimum of 65% marks or 7.5 CGPA from any recognized University/Institute with Valid GATE / CSIR-UGC NET score. Desirable Qualifications: Strong Background in Chemometrics and Signal Processing.

Project Duration: 02 Years. Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- Per Month + 24% HRA. Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
