Organization Profile: The Centre for Environmental Studies (CES) was established as a Division of Public Health Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy during 1955 and later in 1982, the Centre has gloriously developed into Centre for Environmental Studies. The Centre has been making a significant contribution in the field of Environment with the keen focus on Environmental Education, Research and Extension activities.

Name of the Project: Design and Development of a Pilot Scale Integrated Visible Light Photocatalytic Membrane Reactor for Degradation of Emerging Contaminants in Aqueous Solutions and its Performance Evaluation

Project Duration: 3 Years (36 Months)

Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/Chemical Engineering and M.E/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management or Equivalent. Selected through National Eligibility Tests CSIR/UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE, or National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Desirable: Candidates having knowledge and experience in Analysis of Water and Wastewater, Photocatalysis, membrane separation, handling of analytical equipment, and a strong commitment to research with good communication skills.

Job Location: Chennai

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31000 + HRA
