Organization Profile: IIT Hyderabad is part of history in the making. We, the faculty, students, and staff are creating a new institute, an institute, which in due course of time will make an indelible mark in education and research. In a very short time, just about a year, IIT Hyderabad has made significant strides. IIT Hyderabad admitted the first batch of 111 B.Tech. students, and started functioning on August 20, 2008. Three departments, CSE, EE & ME were initiated. The first year had its highs and lows but was an exciting period that will be etched in the minds of the pioneer batch. In January 2009, IIT Hyderabad admitted 11 PhD students.

Title of the Project: Biodegradable polylactic Acid-Microbial Dextran Based Superabsorbent as sustainable alternative for synthetic non-woven material

Essential qualifications: BS 4 years programme/B.Pharm/MBBS/Integrated BSMS/MSc/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Polymer Science/ Chemical Sciences/ Material Science and Engineering or any other related area (Note: Degree should have been awarded)

Desirable: Experience in Biomaterial synthesis, Polymer reactions, and Microbial Fermentation

Tenture of employment: 1 year

Age limit: 28 Years

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Salary: 1. Rs.37,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars selected through GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions. 2. Rs.31,000 + HRA as applicable for scholars who do not fall under (1)
