Research Position: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the project: Design and Development of an Innovative Methodology for Advanced Assessment of the Lubricating Oil Performance Based on Frequency Domain Spectroscopy Used for Marine Applications

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways, Govt. of India

Essential Qualifications: B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering/High Voltage Engineering/Power Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (having good idea of instrumentation) or equivalent discipline and Master’s Degree in relevant fields from reputed institutions with a good academic record. Preference will be given for the candidates with Gate Score.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates should have sufficient knowledge of coding (preferably in MATLAB or Python) and possess a good understanding of LabVIEW. He/She should have a strong background in signal processing.

Project Duration: 36 months

Stipend: Rs. 37,000 p.m + 30% HRA as per DST norms
