Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Project Title: IPSA-Kumbh: Mapping Impact of Floating Population on Sewerage during Maha Kumbh 2025

Essential Qualifications and Experience: M.E./M.Tech (Civil Engineering) with specialization in water resource/environment/remote sensing/GIS/geospatial engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with education from CFTI, possessing valid GATE score, background knowledge programing, water quality modeling, hydrological simulations, or environmental monitoring using sampling and remote sensing. Desired: Familiarity with water indices such as NDWI, NDCI, or TSS estimation. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms for environmental data analysis is an added advantage.

Project Duration: Until August, 2025 or when the project ends (whichever is later)

Emoluments: Rs 37,000 + HRA@9%
