"Junior/Senior Research Fellow"

Sikkim University, Sikkim is seeking candidates for the positions of Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) and Field Cum Lab Attendant (FCLA) under the project titled "DST’s CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE ON WATER RESOURCES, CRYOSPHERE AND CLIMATE CHANGE STUDIES" in the Department of Geology.

Employment Type: Temporary

Qualifications:

• For JRF/SRF: Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Sciences, Geophysics, Glaciology, Geology, Remote Sensing and GIS, Geo-informatics, or relevant disciplines with NET/GATE or equivalent. Must have experience in climate change studies, geophysical studies, glacial studies, mathematical modelling, or geochemical analytical techniques.
• For FCLA: Graduates in a relevant discipline with working experience in analytical instrumentations and fieldwork in glaciers.

Job Location: Gangtok, Sikkim

Remuneration:

• For JRF/SRF: Rs. 31,000.00 per month (Rs. 35,000.00 with two years of experience) plus 8% HRA.
• For FCLA: Rs. 18,000.00 plus 8% HRA per month.
