Overview
The Juris Doctor - History programme from Liberty University teaches from an evangelical, conservative perspective and focuses on the study of American religion, military history, historical documentary filmmaking, and constitutional history.
You must apply and be accepted to the College of Arts & Sciences Master of Arts in History program to earn both the J.D. and M.A. in History. You must also get permission from the school of law registrar and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to participate in the dual degree program.

- To apply, you must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and register with the Credential Assembly Service (CAS).
- One letter of recommendation is required, addressing your academic performance and abilities, preferably from a faculty advisor or professor in your major field of study. If you have been out of school for several years or have served in the military, a letter from an employer or commanding officer is appropriate.
- Applicants are encouraged to submit a current résumé with the Application for Admission form.
