Kavli Institute for Neuroscience at Yale: Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026

We are excited to announce a Yale postdoctoral fellowship opportunity from the Kavli Institute for Neuroscience. We encourage applications that cross the boundaries of more than one field to address important questions in neuroscience: for example, outstanding projects that bring together individuals working in different scientific areas, or those that apply technologies developed in other disciplines such as physics, chemistry, computer science, or engineering.

Terms

The Postdoctoral Fellowship will support postdocs at the interface of neuroscience and another field, under the joint supervision of at least two mentors with different areas of expertise. The award will provide $70,000 for salary support, and standard postdoctoral employee benefits for one year. An additional $10,000 allowance can support relevant research and travel expenses.

Each application should include:

• a two-page proposal (single-spaced, Arial 11pt Font, maximum of one figure, excluding references)
• the CV of the postdoc applicant
• the NIH-style biosketch of each mentor
• a simple budget
